Yeah

So, I just gotta say . . . it feels really damn good to have people coming up to me and telling me that a great idea this documentary project is, and how proud people are that someone from here is doing this. It's awesome.

Most artists (I think it's fair to say) are plagued with self-doubt. For some (like me), it's most of the time. However, when you realize that there are other similar people out there who are supporting you and cheering you on - it really makes it worth while. It helps, soooo much to keep going with the preparations. So many details, so little time . . .

So I want to thank everyone who has given their support - mostly to the bands that are helping us out with a huge rock show at Baba's on March 3rd - Pat Deighan, Out From Under, the Cashmere Disciples . . . and everyone who has given their thumbs up for the project. It's really a product of the community - we're all in this together (as cliche as that sounds). I hope to get as many of you on film as possible. Of course, that's really up to Moe . . . she's the camera lady. I'm just the singer. :)

Soon to come . . . the outcome of a meeting with IMAC. Ooooooooh.

p.s. I met some awesome couchsurfers this week, one of whom has been staying with me for most of the week, Genene from the West Coast. And Chelsea, if you're reading this, it was awesome to meet you - I'll see you in Halifax sometime soon, I'm sure.
